Facials

Facials

The purpose of facials is to rejuvenate and balance your skin and complexion by cleansing, exfoliating, and removing impurities and dead skin cells. A facial at our Brooklyn spa typically includes a mild, gentle cleansing, steaming, extraction, exfoliation, and moisturizing. Packages also include add-ons such as peels, masks, and massages.

Many options exist when choosing the best facial for your skin: Hydration, anti-aging, and acne treatments are just a few. Regular facials aid in healing your skin from common blemishes, sun damage, sun spots, redness, inflammation, and rosacea, as well as dehydration, wrinkles, and collagen loss.

The basic facials process

Exfoliating

After thoroughly cleansing to remove makeup, dirt, bacteria, and excess oil, your skin is finally primed for the next step. Depending on the treatment chosen, we scrub your face with various gentle exfoliates to remove dead skin cells. Exfoliation softens and smoothes your skin to better absorb skin care products and for easier makeup application.

Facials Steaming

Steaming during facials is necessary to open your pores so your skin yields to extraction.

Facials Extraction

Our trained estheticians know how to complete this step painlessly as possible. Their skilled extractions remove impurities on your skin’s outer layer, such as blackheads, whiteheads, and mild acne. However, if your blemishes run too deep, we recommend a dermatologist.

Massage

Your esthetician may gently massage your face with a rejuvenating oil to get your blood flowing.

Masks

Depending on the consultation with your esthetician, they will apply a clay-based or cream mask to your face while you relax and your skin absorbs the effective and natural ingredients.

Serums, Toners, and Sunscreen

A carefully selected serum, toner, and sunscreen are applied to your face. They protect your skin in various ways, from aging to blemishes and sun damage.

With all of the treatments at Overture Spa, glowing, healthy skin awaits current and future clients across Williamsburg, 11211, 11249, 11206, and Greenpoint, 11222, in Brooklyn.
